Canada

British Columbia

These colourful totem poles appear to soar into the British Columbia sky. Carved out of mature cedar trees, Northwest Pacific totem poles display a myriad of figures to represent the stories, life events and supernatural encounters that are spiritually unique to each Native group.

Revelstoke
British Columbia
Beautifullly situated Revelstoke straddles Trans- Canada Hwy. and the Columbia River, and is a recreational paradise. Downtown Grizzly Plaza is framed by these bear sculptures. The Railway Museum features historic C.P.R rolling stock and history. Just out of the city, 2732m (8963 ft) Mt. Begbie provides great scenery.
